Novinky Faktory a průvodní choroby spojené s vyšší incidencí herpes zoster
Větší riziko infekce herpes zoster hrozí podle španělské populační studie u osob vyššího věku, s nižším socioekonomickým stavem, imunodeficiencí a průvodními chorobami zahrnujícími astma, diabetes mellitus, ischemickou chorobu srdeční, další kardiovaskulární onemocnění a zhoubné nádory. Tyto údaje jsou zásadní pro posouzení epidemiologie herpes zoster, vytvoření cílených programů očkování dospělých a monitorování jejich účinnosti.
