Nefroprotektivní účinek N-acetylglukosaminu u potkanů s akutním poškozením ledvin

Souhrn

Článek prezentuje výsledky studie nefroprotektivního účinku N-acetylglukosaminu (NAG) na vývoj experimentálního akutního poškození ledvin (APL). Studie byla provedena na modelu akutní glycerolové nefrózy u potkanů. NAG byl studován v dávce 50 mg/kg při denním parenterálním podání během jednoho týdne ve srovnání s kvercetinem, který byl podáván intraperitoneálně v dávce 34 mg/kg. Účinnost léčiv byla hodnocena podle funkčního stavu zvířat, renální vylučovací funkce a ukazatelů metabolismu dusíku. Účinek NAG na potkany s APL způsobil snížení míry úmrtnosti, zvýšení diurézy, snížení proteinurie, zvýšení vylučování kreatininu a močoviny, což ukazuje na normalizaci vylučovací funkce ledvin a metabolismu dusíku. Zároveň NAG statisticky významně převýšil účinek kvercetinu ve většině ukazatelů, a tedy i úroveň účinnosti. NAG je tedy účinným lékem pro léčbu APL, který může být použit při parenterálním podání.
