Overview
The article is focused on the social relationships of elderly people during the old age and determiners which are in relation to social relationship of old people living in the nursing homes and in natural home enviroment. There is evaluated meaning of the family, missing kind of support and some of specific needs of seniors. There are investigated important determiners of loneliness and the influence of loneliness on the valuableness of growing old. The survey is focused on the analysis and comparison of the results data from questionnaire anonymous inquiry among the elderly from nursing homes and natural home services. The outcomes of the survey showed the diference between the social relationship assesment and evaluation from the senior´s perspective in relation to the place of living.
