Overview

This review article presents recent data on elderly people falling, and focuses particularly on diabetic patients. The most common endogenous and exogenous causes of falls leading to higher prevalence in diabetic patients than in the general population are included. In conclusion some indicators for the management and prevention of mobility problems are given.
