Overview
Article informs about the principal conclusions from the project governed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic “Identification of motivational factors among the medical professionals in the position at the medical advisory panel“. The aim of the project was to asses the views of medical professionals at the positions in the medical advisory panel which could be used to enlist new assessment physician. Activity of assessment physician is not considered by other medical specialists to be interesting, mainly because its high requirements for administrative work and limited contact with patients. The highest potential for recruitment of new assessment physician represent specialist working in hospitals. To increase the appeal of physicians in the positions at the medical advisory panel it is necessary to decrease the administrative load, bring the assessment service closer to clinical medicine and to improve the awareness on the role of assessment physician among other medial professionals.
