Overview

Basic procedure for any clinician is to establish the diagnosis. There are some basic measures of diagnostic testsvalidity, which clinician should knowand use for selection of appropriate diagnostic test and for the correct evaluationof test results. Sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive values and likelihood ratio belong amongthose measures.
