Overview
The authors discuss the problem of congenital pigmented naevi with regard to their incidence, clinical picture, symptomatology, tendency to progress, and the possible change into malignantmelanoma, and treatment. The authors demonstrate the problem on four child patients withcongenital pigmented naevi from their own clinical material. In one instance they observed thedevelopment of melanoma with minimal deviation. The authors seek possible ways of treatment ofcongenital pigmented naevi and draw attention to the need of their dispensarization from early age.
