Overview
The authors recapitulate contemporary possibilities of treatment of vitiligo differentiated according to the clinical type. Their attention is focussed on phototherapy - in general they mentiondifferences from phototherapy used in other types of dermatoses, parameters of effectiveness, safety,tolerance and complications. They describe their own experience with 311 nmUVB phototherapy inparticular in combination with local photochemotherapy with oxsoralene ointment. In the conclu-sion they formulate the principles and recommendations for phototherapy of vitiligo in practice.
