Overview
In 1999, standards for the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis were published by Czech Society forRheumatology. Anti-TNF treatment has been approved for ankylosing spondylitis in 2003, andtherefore the supplement to those standard protocols is being published. Disease characterization,diagnostic criteria, basic conditions for TNF blockers-treatment, the way of use of individual agentsand follow-up during the treatment are presented in the paper.
