Overview
The submitted review deals with the problem of hyperandrogenic syndrome (formerly polycysticovary syndrome). With regard to the scope of the problem the paper was divided into three parts.The article contains also hitherto unpublished data on the history of the disease, a critical viewon the differential diagnosis and evaluation of diagnostic criteria and recent views on late risksand possible treatment.
