Overview

The article presents the concept of patient friendly health care for migrants, stressing selected examples of good practice both in the Czech Republic and the EU. First, it describes the differences in health status and health care utilisation between migrants and the indigenous population. Furthermore, it deals with the individual types of health care services, health care delivery organizations and the related education of health professionals.
