Overview

The author compared the mean score of procedures in 10 departments of child cardiology (302) in Prague withcorresponding nation-wide data, the latter being higher. In Prague departments a small number of examinationsper day was recorded. The author compared also data on procedures, drug consumption and induced care ona nation-wide scale between child cardiology and paediatrics (301). From the investigation ensues that the needsfor child cardiology departments in Prague is smaller than the present state, while the position is probably theopposite in some places outside Prague.
