The reorganization of medical review services has been implemented since July 1, 2006. Health status for the purposes of insurance systems – health and pension insurance – is assessed by physicians working in the structure of CSSZ, assessment for the purposes of noninsurance systems is done by the new medical review service affiliated to offices for employment. The competence of the new institution (LPS) is presented, as well as the new system of assessment of health status (LPS UP).
