Overview

The author describes the issues discussed at negotiations of administrative bodies of the district health insurance companyin a Czech district town between 1926 and 1931 according to protocols drawn from these negotiations. The instruction forpresent days were drawn from the presented approaches of officials of supreme bodies to particular tasks of health insurance:the health insurance company of the past cannot be idealized from the point of view of clients and physicians as concernspayment of necessary care. However, the true approach to health insurance became an inspiration and example.
