Overview

Inter-professional cooperation is required so that quality care for seniors and persons with dementia can be delivered. Quality of care can be improved by active involvement of staff members at care-providing institution participating in assessment, planning and implementation of necessary changes. Appropriate and sufficient training and support for the staff members is a necessity. The Gerontological and Organisational supervision in South Moravian Homes for Seniors project is an example of cooperation of professional teams from residential care and external consultants from the field of gerontology.
