What can a general practitioner advice his patients while choosing the hospital?

Overview
The article describes what should general practitioner consider while advising his patients what hospital, to get the care in, they could choose. For easier patient orientation in the offered hospital and medical services quality are realized different surveys. The majority of them is based on evaluations of given indicators created by experts and does not consider what is important for patients itself. The next possibility how to evaluate the health care quality is the evaluation of patient individual expectations and the level of their fulfilling. To be able to assess to which level the hospital meets the patient expectations while consuming their services, we have to recognize them in ample time and to match them after with patient preferences while being hospitalized. Only at the time of matching the future and actual expectations influenced by the fact of being hospitalized and to have disease, we can analyze the needs which fulfilling is important for our patients. This is important for the evaluation of the health care quality a and the quality of institution which we will recommend to our patients, of course if the choice is not influenced by other factors like exclusiveness of care in the relation to the diagnose.
