Overview

Sudden cardiac death in athletes is a dramatic and tragic event. Properly interpreted ECG could reduce the risk of sudden cardiac death. This paper addresses new “Seattle” criteria for ECG interpretation in athletes. Education in the field of proper ECG interpretation should lead to reduction of false positive and false negative results.
