Overview
The authors describe a case of craniopharyngioma in a 79 year old male that manifested itself through a disturbance of vision - diplopia, deterioration of perimeter, and symptoms of hypothyreosis. Diagnosis and treatment options are discussed on the basis of the authors’ own experience. The authors consider this case quiet atypical mainly due to the tumour type, negative CT scan result and an atypical MRI image. The conclusive diagnosis was determined at the post mortem examination.
