The review article deals with different types of fatigue, from the physiological one to the chronicfatigue syndrome (CFS). The author analyzes different causes of fatigue and their clinicalsymptoms. The chronic fatigue syndrome defined by Holmes and Fukuda standards may haveseveral reasons and there is also a lot of mainly non-specific therapeutic possibilities.Key words:
