Old age is associated with a lot of problems into the treatment of patients with burns. Thetreatment always demands an interdisciplinary approach.The authors reflect on complications in rehabilitation therapy, early rehabilitation is empha-sized. The stabilisation of psychosocial stress is necessary as well as an active attitude ofmembers of the family.
