Overview
In a questionnaire survey in which 50 dialyzation centres in the Czech Republic participatedHBsAg carriership was revealed in 13.7 %, anti-HCV in 11.8 % of the dialysed patients. Duringvaccination against viral hepatitis B seven different patterns were used, hyperimmune gam-maglobulin was administered only in two thirds of the departments. On comparison with dataof the hygiene service it was found that the majority of cases of viral hepatitis B in dialyzationcentres is not properly notified.
