Overview
In the Czech Republic there is a low perinatal and neonatal mortality. Objective of the article is to draw attention to some controversial problems concerning perinatal care. Based on the literature search, but especially on the authors’ own experience, selected controversial issues from this period are defined.
The most frequent controversial procedures such as assisted reproduction, indications to Caesarean section, deliveries at home and the questions of the life origin are discussed.
