Overview

The authors investigated in a representative sample of 857 women above 15years, using an anonymous questionnaire, their sexual satisfaction . Basedon the assembled results it may be stated that the overall sexual satisfactionof Czech women is high (expressed by 82% of the investigated group) andcomparable with that of women in other countries where similar surveyswere implemented (France, Great Britain, USA). Sexual satisfaction of Czechwomen is not influenced by age, education nor size of community. It is notinfluenced even by their sexual excitability and their orgastic capacity. Sexu-al satisfaction of Czech women is however significantly lower in those res-pondents with a history of sexual dysfunction and sexual traumatization(sexual abuse and an aggressive sexual experience).
