Health documentation and reviewing activities of health insurance companies

Overview

The paper draws attention to the management of health documentation, so far covered by the enactment § 67b. of the Law No. 20/1966 of the Digest. The Ministry of Health directive No. 64/2007 of the Digest, implemented from April 1, 2007, replaced the directive No. 385/2006 of the Digest on health documentation and directive No. 479/2006 of the Digest. The review of records in health documentation is only one instrument used for checking reckoning of health care. It cannot replace information obtained from an insuree and other facts necessary for reviewing activities.
