Overview
Scuba-diving has recently become a popular activity, therefore proper assessment of diving fitness is a question, which can be intere-sting for wide medical community. Assessment of diving fitness is not merely the exclusion of disease, it is the thoughtful risk-analysis of the abilities and disabilities of a given individual within the context of demands of the diving environment. This assessment includes its physical, physiological and psychological components. This summary can help the medical community to understand these issues.
