Principles and applications of assertive behaviour in contact with applicants for allowances

Overview

The author summarizes the literature knowledge and his experience with assertive behaviour in the environment of the health care system and also from the specific environment of Review Medicine. Based on his experience, ap-proximately 20% of assessed behaviours were passive and manipulative ones and approximately 10% comprised aggressive manipulation. Roughly, 70% of behaviours were undergoing in a factual and calm way without significant manipulations. Communication principles are discussed.
