Laboratorní stanovení celkové aktivity α-amylázy představuje téměř 2 miliony vyšetření ročně v České republice. Stanovení celkové α-amylázy pro diagnostiku onemocnění pankreatu má velmi nízkou specificitu a doporučováno je proto stanovení specifických pankreatických enzymů pankreatického izoenzymu α-amylázy a pankraetické lipázy. Sdělení sumarizuje laboratorní a klinické aspekty zaměřené především na hyperamylazémii.
Klíčová slova:
α-amyláza, pankreatický izoenzym, slinný izoenzym, makroamyláza, hyperamylazémie.
