Background.
According to the concept of Partial Androgen Deficiency of the Aging Male (PADAM), testosteronesupplementation becomes recommended in prevention and therapy of different disturbances especially in agingmales.Methods and Results. In the group of 58 married patients with varicocele and in 85 married normozoospermicmen the plasma testosterone levels were estimated and the coital activity was determined by an interview. Plasmavalues of male sex hormone of patients with varicocele were significantly lower (pKey words:
