Overview

This article gives basic informati on abo ut the formati on and the co urse of the inflammatory re acti on, which is the important adaptati on mechanism of the organism on the vari o us external and internal injurants. The main attenti on is fixated on the role of the immune system in the co urse of the inflammatory re acti on. It de als with the presence and the sense of the inflammatory re acti on in the tumo ur environment in more detail. It gives the short informati on abo ut the mechanisms of the antitumo ur defence. The influence of the inflammatory re acti on on the genesis, the co urse and the progressi on of the tumo ur dise ase is discussed in the third chapter.
