Overview
Long-term care in Denmark has been transformed from the 80s of the 20th century. The main focus is on home care, which is serviced by state authorities. Seniors have the right to receive all those services for free, for example nursing assistance. The priority of the Danish long-term system is that seniors can stay in their homes as long as possible.
