Published in: Geriatrie a Gerontologie 2015, 4, č. 3: 131-134
Category: Original Article/Study
Overview
The aim of the research was to analyze the sex life in older adults with treated arterial hypertension and to identify their information needs within the education performed by health professionals. Results show that older adults with treated arterial hypertension are often very active, which interferes also in their still ongoing sex life, as stated in domestic and foreign research. That is why the education should also focus on the potential adverse effects of hypertension treatment and possible solutions.
