Overview

The article deals with both complete and multidisciplinary care for facial cleft affected child. It focuses on complexity of the essence, repercussions as well as prevention of orofacial clefts. The structure of the multidisciplinary team and its competence are analysed in details. The only way how to reach the required effects is the combination of complete therapy in specialized centres and, in the same time, tight mutual cooperation with parents of these children. The latest international care trends are also mentioned in the end of the article.
