Autoři předkládají kazuistiku mladého muže hospitalizovaného pro akutní krční lymfadenitidu. Diagnóza Lemierrova syndromu byla stanovena na podkladě průkazu Fusobacterium necrophorum v hemokultuře u nemocného s krční lymfadenitidou a ipsilaterální trombózou vena jugularis interna. Autoři poukazují na široké spektrum onemocnění v rámci diferenciální diagnostiky uzlinového syndromu.
