Overview

Vitamin D and its receptors are the esentials of living organisms and they are synthesized within the lipid bilayers of the stratům corneum. From there it is transported into the skin capillary net. The biologically active form is the 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 (1,25(OH)2D 3 and its intracellular receptors (VDR háve the function of the transcriptional factors. Topical vitamin D in creams is the most effective psoriatic remedy of contemporary dermatology
