Vitamin D a psoriáza

Vitamin D a jeho receptory jsou v biologii živých organismů velmi podstatné. V lidském těle je vitamin D ze 70 % syntetizován v lipidových dvojvrstvách epidermální bariéry ve stratům corneum a odtud transportován do kožní kapilární sítě. Biologicky aktivní formou je 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 (1,25(OH)2D 3 a jeho intracelulární receptory (VDRmají funkci transkrip-čních faktorů. V současné dermatologii je vitamin D vhodným zevním lékem hlavně pro psoriázu.
