Overview

Situation of patients and their experiences in chronic dialysis program are described from theperspective of sociology. Chronic dialysis brings some new matters into the life of patients.Experiencing of body is changing - formerly trouble-free body is lost, many new complaintsappear and it is necessary to accept several restrictions. Dialysis provided for many hours inthe hospital reshapes time and space in a new way. Regularly visited department becomes animportant part of life of patients.
