Overview
The harmfulness of skin irradiation in solaria has been sufficiently proved even the molecularlevel. What remains is the epidemiological education, which should begin and continue onlong-term basis in consulting rooms of all physicians. Such activity should be based on relevantargument from reliable and recent sources. The paper therefore refers to summaries of thisyear’s three-continental meeting of the International Investigative Dermatology (IID) in Miami,Florida, U.S.A.
Key words:
solaria - photoaging -UVradiation - immunosuppression - cytotoxicity - skin tumors.
