Pyoderma Gangrenosum. A Case Report

Pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) is a chronic dermatosis characterized by a progressive processwith the formation of ulcers with undermined and violet margins. There is a connection withvarious general diseases (systemic diseases of connective tissue, haematological abnormalities,GIT diseases, ulcerous colitis etc.). The therapy is based on identification and treatment of thebasic disease and in a systemic administration of corticoids. The paper describes the case of a38-year female patient with the above-mentioned diagnosis.
