Overview
In 1994-1998 in the Easte Bohemian region 78 occupational cases of bronchial asthma werereported. Most frequently the disease developed durin processing of flour, in agriculture, in thetextile industry and in the health services. The most important allergens were flour, plant andanimal dusts in agriculture, textile dusts and disinfectants. Attention is drawn to the fact thataccording to a new list of occupational diseases also allergic rhinitis can be notified as anoccupational disease.
