The authors of this concise paper wish to draw attention to the problem of bronchial carcinoids,in particular their treatment and the serious character of this „benign“ disease. Based on theirown experience with operations of 40 pulmonary carcinoids the authors recommend radicalresection combined with lymphadenectomy.
