Overview
Simple febrile seizures are relatively prevalent conditions that often causing avoidable anxiety to the children and their parents. We developed clinical practice guideline “Febrile Seizures: Guideline for the Neurodiagnostic Evaluation of the Child With a Simple Febrile Seizure“ that is adapted guideline of the American Academy of Pediatrics. We published two accompanying educational texts on febrile seizures and bacterial meningitis in children. Patients’ version of guideline should be an integral part of every clinical practice guideline. Therefore we developed the information leaflet for parents carrying for children with febrile seizures.
