Overview

The authors outline present knowledge of epidemiology, prevalence, pathomorphology, clinical manifestations, diagnostics and therapy of stomach mucosa heterotopy. Moreover, they present their group of patients, having been operated on at the Clinic of Children Surgery of Comenius University, JLF in Martin, where the disease was diagnosed by histology. The group includes 13 patients.
