Objective: To summarize available data concerning lycopene and male infertility treatment.
Design: Review article.
Setting: Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University Hospital Olomouc.
Methods: Compilation of published data from scientific literature.
Conclusions: The article describes occurrence, biochemistry, metabolism of lycopene and its role in male reproductive health.
