Summary of findings on possibilities of ultrasound examination of the uterus and ovaries.Design: Review.Setting: Gynaecological and Obstetric Clinic First Medical Faculty Charles University and General Faculty Hospital Prague 2, Apolináøská 18.Material and methods: Processing of data in the literature on possibilities of gynaecological ultrasound examination.Conclusions: Ultrasound examination is an indispensible part in the diagnosis of pathological conditions of the uterus and ovaries.Key words:
