Overview
Testicular tumours are the most frequent malignancy in 20-44 year old males. It is thus necessary to know at least the principal epidemiology and etiology data related to testicular tumours. Emphasis is placed on the basic clinical symptoms and diagnostic approaches in the assessment of the primary testicular tumour, presence and extent of metastases. The exact histo-pathological classification of testicular tumours, together with the quantification of the representation of individual tumour types and the presence of particular histo-pathological prognostic factors, help determine the treatment procedure and its success.
