Overview

This review outlines the method of diagnostics and therapy of neural dynamics, observed in connection with pathological processes in periaudicular and perineural space, manifesting with root symptomatology or nerve root symptomatology or stenosis syndromes, most often on upper or lower extremities, which is not used very frequently in this country. The author presents a survey of testing manoeuvres for evaluating the participation of mechanic irritation of neural structure in clinical condition of the patient and a survey of neurodynamic principles used in the therapy of neuropathic pain caused by increased tension or compression of neural structures.

Key words:
mechanosensitivity, neurodynamic principles, neural mobilization, stretching manoeuvres
