Overview
The treatment options for posterior epistaxis are now much wider than in the past when the only option was to introduce a posterior nasal packing. The Belloc tube is a historical instrument used for this procedure. In the article, the author describes the construction, way of use and history of Belloc's tube as a mysterious instrument of unclear authorship that fell almost entirely into oblivion.
