Overview

Pyoderma gangrenosum, which is a dermatologic extraintestinal manifestation of Crohn disease and ulcerative colitis, is quite rare in ENT region.

A case of 48-year old female patient, suffering from Crohn disease is presented. She has repeatedly undertaken biopsy from a whitish infiltration of right tonsil and palate. No signs of malignant tumor were detected. After few weeks, complete remission of mucosal lesion was observed. However, 4 months later we have noticed pyoderma gangrenosum of nasal area with perforation to oral cavity. Later, malignant outbreak of T/NK - cell lymphoma leading to death of a patient occurred.
