Overview
Summary:
The paper presents 5 case histories of a rare cholesteatoma of external auditory duct. The authors describe in detail pathogenetic factors of the origin, stage of the disease, differential diagnosis and therapeutic procedure. The authors consider surgery as the therapeutic method of choice. Cholesteatoma developing in external auditory duct is not a simple problem.
