Endonasal Endoscopic Surgical Treatment of Patientswith Nasal Polyposis and/or Chronic Sinusitis (1585 Operations)

Overview
The authors analyze retrospectively a group of 978 patients with nasal polyposis andchronic sinusitis reps. who were treated surgically by the endonasal endoscopic technique. A totalof 1585 operations were performed. The analysis is focused on surgical indication, preoperativepreparation, type of anaesthesia, extent and type of operation and postoperative complications.Short-term and long-term results are evaluated (1-10-year results).
